The next morning: All the effort and sweat along the trail to the summit. This is how it feels when you achieve your goals.
Kaikoura surprised me with its beautiful coastline. I remembered back to the day when I explored Esperance, Western Australia. They both have similarities. Very interesting. I was pleased to visit a good friend of my and explore Kaikoura. This place is now on my "New Zealand favourite places" list. Highly recommended.
Teammates | Nelson Lakes National Park | South Island
Friendship are goals.
Robert Ridge Route Walkway | Nelson Lakes National Park | South Island
The walk on Robert Ridge towards Lake Angelus continues.
Lake Dove | Cradle Mountain | TAS
After having constantly rain for the last 3 days traveling from the east coast up north and then down towards Cradle Mountain. Very unpredictable weather.. and we really thought to skip Cradle Mountain for a better day. We camped on a free camp spot only couple of kms away. In the morning we woke up before the sun rose. Unbelievable! A clear sky... The morning was spectacular with clear reflections along Lake Dove.
The story behind this photo: After traveling from Maria Island to Freycinet National Park I was about to camp at a lake not far away from Coles Bay. The night was freezing cold I woke up at night because of the cold and couldn't get warm again. Time? Around 2 am. What should you suppose to do if you're shivering with cold. Well, I decided to get in my car and to do an early hike at night to see the sun rise above Wineglass Bay. It was an honour to watch this spectacle.
Surfing | Ship Stern Bluff | TAS
Full in action. Camera set, the waves can come. Recording the surf under the wave.
Julius Summit | Nelson Lakes National Park | South Island
We are so small and there is so much to explore. Imagine to have a spaceship to discover all the other planets that there are out there.
Fire Jump | Bay Of Fires | TAS
Bay of Fires, on the island's northeast coast, in March. Clear skies and low tide allowed for an uncharacteristically calm evening. At the sunset, the bay's rocky shoreline put on a show.
