Hiking up Mount Stokes to watch the sunset wasn't just a disappointed but instead a big surprise. Having all views towards the sky I witnessed Mount Tongariro at an elevation of 1.978m, a compound volcano located on the North Island.

Robert Ridge Route | Nelson Lakes National Park | South Island
I had a blast at the Nelson Lakes National Park. Check out the video on my youtube account for more.
This is the first time I saw Aurora, the southern lights. I was looking for a good spot to watch the spectacle. Cape Raoul close to Port Arthur, Tasmania was a perfect place for it. After 2h of taking pictures I needed to stop as I was freezing. I built my tent close to the location and tried to get warm again. It took me about 40 min to fall asleep with the last view of the stars.
